Out West May 15-16 2010

I totally forgot to post about this. Its our family tradition to every May have the boys in the family go camping out in the west desert, and the girls used to go shopping and stay in a hotel. This was Daxton's first year out west. He was excited but he didn't know how much fun it was going to be. We had his last soccer game of the season so we let him go to that and then my mother and I drove him to Wendover to meet my Dad to take him out camping.

So then the boys so out camping. They eat, catch rattlesnakes and lizards and horny toads. My Dad told Daxton that its OK to have dirty hands, that's what guys do when they are camping.

The ladies were able to get together and do dinner at Outback, minus the Morgan part of the family, they were in Orem doing some serious shopping.

I told Daxton that the reason that he can no keep it as a pet is because kids get sick because they get their germs in their mouth and they get sick. Well, he said that he kissed it and he put his finger in his mouth got spit and wiped the kiss off. After he had been petting the dang lizard. haha

Grandpa Mitton 6-3-10

My Grandpa Mitton is an awesome guy. He is a good farmer, contractor, plumber, collector, painter and inventor. He is always coming up with new stuff. He loves to have hobbies now that he is retired. He can not sit still for more then three seconds, he is always going and doing something.

My dad has been working in our Carlin office lately so he is gone a lot of the time. He is running a car wash and shop in Carlin. He has had a few setbacks, the mud of the trucks from the mines are plugging the system and forcing it to be shut down. Being that all they do in Carlin is mine, my Grandpa was really interested in getting a bucket of dirt from the truck wash. He was looking for gold.

After months of studying gold on the Internet he decided to make the trip with my Dad. They were gone only a few days. When they came back Grandpa had 6, 5 gallon buckets of mud from the car wash. He is going to try to find gold, by melting it down.

Grandpa brought a rock home for Daxton. So they got out the closest thing to a magnifying glass that they could find, my mom's readers. haha Good times hanging out with my funny Grandpa.

Play ball 5-12-10

Now that soccer is finished we are on to the next sport, baseball. Last year he played t-ball, so I think this year will be a little different. There are a lot of things that I would like to say but at this time I will keep it between me and people who come to watch him play. This year Trevor (Daxton's biological father) is helping out as an assistant coach. And I think he does a good job. Daxton is one of there best players. He has a good knowledge of the game and he has been praticing batting with his dad since last year.

Daxton is the farthest kid on the right. When Daxton go to the game he didn't know what to do with his shirt. Then he noted by himself that some of the kids had their shirts tucked in. So in the picture above he is tucking his shirt in.

St. George 5-5-9-10

It is family tradition to go to St. George every year. My dad goes down for a trucking convention and we kind of used his room. I have been going since I can remember. It started out at just my mom and dad and me and Caden. Now its a party! This year my grandma was able to join us. We always have a lot of fun. People ask us what we do. The answer to that is nothing. We have no plans. We just go down there and swim, eat and shop. Its a great get away. My sister-in-law came down with my nieces but they had to leave before we took the picture. Her parents have a house in St. George so they where kind enough to let us stay there. Very nice people, and a huge thanks to them.

The best thing about the Cox's house is their pool! This is Daxton jumping off the waterfall. He is a complete fish. If you look hard you can see my dad in the bottom left of this picture...hi dad

Swimming! I am in the pink tube. I was watching Daxton rock jump until he noticed that I was in a device that he would be more then happy to dump me out of. Aubrey is right next to me swimming with the blue floaters.

First let me tell you that Daxton is funny. He has a great sense of humor. He insisted that we take his picture with his but pretending to be on a cactus. So funny! I have to tell what happened to Sienna and I. When we first got there the kids wanted to go out back and play so I took them out. I walked around the property to make sure that they would be ok out there. The only danger I saw was the cactus. So I told Daxton (who was the oldest) to stay away from that side of the house. I went inside to make some plans with the girls. Then I could hear the kids on the side of the house where the cactus are. I though oh crap, so I rushed out there and sure enough they where walking through all of the cactus. I told them to get away form them. I picked up Sienna (who is 20 months) by her arms to get her away for them and it hurt like crazy! Sure enough she had touched the cactus. She had needles all over her. So I touched her as little as I could and brought her into the house. Well, we spend the next hour with tweezers trying to get the needles out of us. Poor Sienna had them everywhere! I just had them on my hands and hip from picking her up. Man, I had no idea how bad that hurts. They are like slivers, but you cant see them.

So we have wanted these scooter thing for a long time. Then when we where at the outlets we found them at the toy store for $40 instead of the $75 that we found them for. We where so excited. My mom bought one and I bought one for Daxton. Being that Daxton is so funny, he said "guys i know what we need to do. Lets go back to the motel and have scooter races!" He was so excited that we just couldn't say no. So everyone but Grandma Mitton had races. I guess I am retarded because I can't figure them out.

Tradition is to go to Fiesta Fun and ride the go karts. Being that Tahnee is prego she couldn't this year...poor girl. So it was just Kalie and Daxton and I. We had fun.

Daxton wanted to do bumper boats. I felt bad because he was the only one who wanted to do it. But in the end he didn't mind. There where two other little boys for him to get.

Mallow Roast 4-14-2010

We had been outside playing soccer, then Daxton decided that he wanted to do a fire. Being that my dad is the propane man that he is he has a fire pit in his back yard. So I went up town to get some marshmallows for them to roast. Daxton did a great job!

Seperation Anxiety 4-2-10

Because of spring break Daxton got to go with his dad for a full week. So we did lunch on the Friday that he left. We didn't know how long it would be before we got to see each other again so we just had a good time. Daxton is so full of life and energy.Its not a good picture but its from a phone...he is such a sweet goof ball!

I am not even going to tell you how long we did this for. He is such a sweet boy! I love every second that I get to spend with him.

Daxton and Sienna 4-1-10

Well, Daxton loves his cousins...all of them. But for some reason he is head over heals for Sienna. I am guessing it must be the age that he likes. She is about 18 months old and she is so much fun. He thinks that everything she does is super funny. Then after they hang out for days he is always wanting to play "Sienna." She is so much fun! It's always fun to see her because she gets go excited to see you. Daxton is lucky to have such awesome cousins.
