Labor day Sept 8, 2011

Daxton and I went to Wellsville for the holiday. On the way up I got really sick, so I was dumped off at my Grandparents house while everyone went to the parade. I felt bad that I missed seeing the excitement and all of my family. At least my parents took some pictures.Every year my uncle Kurt has what is called the "little buckaroo rodeo". It is fun for the kids who have grown up watching rodeos on tv or their parents and now they get a turn to participate in it themselves. I was finally feeling a lot better so I was able to talk Daxton into doing it. It was the last year that he could participate in riding the sheep.
Daxton and Hunter and a million other kids waiting for there turn. Daxton was so funny. He was so nervous and he had to go to the bathroom. I gave him some good advice. Just don't let go. What other advice is there to give. I think he did a great job. I guess after watching the video I should have told him not to let his feet touch the ground. He almost make the buzzer. Way to go little cowboy!

First Grade Aug 2011

Daxton started 1st grade. He is getting so big. I was lucky enough to get to take him to his first day of school because I don't have a job. He was so excited and so nervous. His teacher this year is Mrs. Rachel Jones. He only has a few friends for Kindergarten in his class this year.

The first week of 1st grade was so hard. When Daxton go home from school he was so dang tired. It is a lot of work to go to school for that many hours. It like having a full time job. But he loves his teacher and his class. On Friday the first week of school, Daxton had told me that he wasnt feeling very well. His teacher had informed us that they are going to try to tell you that so they dont have to go to school. So I sent him to school. I thought his coloring looked a little off. When I picked him up from school at the end of the day he was just waisted for a hard first week, so I though. Then when I got him home I realized that his breathing was deep and that he must not be feeling well. I talked him into going to his room and laying down. Well, I came back a few seconds later and he was passed out. Later that day we found out that he was really sick if you know what I mean. yuck!

unemployment August 2010

I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom. Not having a job is the best thing ever, well at least while Daxton didn't have school. We didn't do much this month just hug out and kept busy. Then the week before school started we realized that we hadn't done much this summer so we lived it up!I was trying to get the picture in order of events but I am having too much trouble so it is kind of all over the place so stay with me on this post. First, Daxton has always said how much he likes to golf. So, I was thinking it would be fun to take him to the putting range and hit some balls. Well, basically that plan failed. Daxton was done in like two minutes. It might have had something to do with the huge blister that he got from doing it. But just maybe.
Then, I wanted to go to the Brigham City Pool. So I got on my phone a dial and called my peeps and we met there. Who went: mom, me, daxton, millie, krisann, aubrey, sienna, racinda, kalie, abbie, thanee, addison and mindi, sammi and kamery. Oh my it was so much fun. It was so nice to be able to do things in the summer with family without being in an office all day. I have worked all of Daxton's life so to be able to do something like that was a dream come true. Did I mention that we had a blast.

We went to Boondocks with Angela and her boys. I am not sure but I think Daxton had a good time. He has like straight girl cousins so it was really nice for him to get to hang out with some boys finally. We where there for quite some time. Did I mention that the boys liked getting us wet with the squirt guns from the bumper-boats. It was fun to watch them try to soak us.

Bear Lake!!! So we just went up for the day. Grandma and Grandpa came, Tom and KaeLene and Liza and Annie, RaCinda and Kalie, Tahnee and Addison, Mom and Dad, Daxton and I, KrisAnn and Aubrey and Sienna, and Mindi, Sammi and Kamery. It was so nice to just sit there and enjoy being on vacation. It was honestly the perfect day. It was not too hot, the wind didn't blow to bad. Just perfect. Then when everyone was packing and headed out I looked over and there was Daxton's friend Danny from our ward and his family. It was so weird to see people you know, not to mention being placed next to them all day and not even know it. They invited us to go out on their boat. It was really nice of them and Daxton was so excited. He love to ride behind the boats when he doesn't feel his life will be in danger. haha Anyways the people who own the boat, kids, where scared and didn't want to be on the banana. Daxton was rocking out on it and the kids both ended up getting off before the ride was over. Silly kids.

And I didn't want to forget just the time that we had with the family doing nothing but just being together. I am so grateful for the best time in my life. For the chance to be out of work so that I could spend some mommy time with Daxton. He is an amazing kid, and I am so lucky that he is mine. I love my family, they are the best.
