Work Overload 7-31-8

I am having a day where I have too many projects and not enough time to do all of them. Its month end at work which means that I have all of my work due at the same time. Not to mention that it also falls over payroll. When you wonder what a receptionist would do all day, how boring just answer the phones…I wish. I do payroll for all of the 20 Petro drivers (that is by weekly), I bill freight and I also bill Chevron for common carrier loads. Boring…So Daxton and my mom came into work today to eat there food before they went to The Gateway to play in the fountains. Daxton mixed all of my paper clips, pulled of my markers out and just messed up my drawer. I am kind of OCD so I had to fix it right away. Now I am doing much better now that I have my desk cleaned off and my drawer organized. If you are wondering these picture are messy. See how all of the clips are mixed up. I asked Chels if she had ever seen my desk this messy before to which she replyed "Yes." That is not true. Just if you were wondering.

New Class 7-30-8

Daxton is in his new swim class. He has so much fun. Its so funny to watch the kids with all of there different personalities. There is one kid that afraid of the water (that would have been me). Then you have the kid that has really good coordination and is a very good swimmer. Then Daxton who is kind of the goof off. He is not so much a goof off he is just so excited to be there that his mind is everywhere. He is kind of a distraction. Then you have the girl that is just totally a girl. They are all very cute and I enjoy watching them learn every day.

Little Swimmer 7-28-8

I am so excited. I finally got Daxton back! Its been far too long. Today was his first day of swimming lessons. He was so excited. He was telling me all about it on the way. He is taking lessons in Bountiful so that for my lunch I can go and watch him. My mom picked me up and off we went.
This is Daxton and his teacher. At first I was thinking he was the only one.

Then this kid showed up. That boy was not a fish.

This was Daxton in his lesson...a natural born fish.

In the middle of the lesson the guy who was in charge of the lesson’s approached me and asked me if I was Daxton’s mom. I was like oh no what did he do. The guys asked if it was ok that we moved Daxton up a level. He was too advanced for the beginner lesson. I was such a proud mom. So I guess you could say that Daxton’s lesson went great.

Somethings off 7-27-8

This was a weird weekend. I last saw Daxton on Wednesday for lunch. So I have been completely single. So on Friday I decided to clean my carpets in my apartment. I stared at 9pm. At about 10 I called my mom to come over and help me because something was not working right and I was going to kill her machine. Well, I figured out how to work the stupid thing and was hard at work till 2am. That is not easy work. My carpets were way dirty (according to the color of the used water).

That night I didn’t move in my sleep until 11:40am. I guess I was good and tired. When I woke up my carpet was still totally wet. So I figured that the best way to dry it would be to open the windows. It’s like 100 degrees outside so it should dry fast. Then I wanted to see the town homes in Farmington and so did my mom so I took her carpet cleaner back and picked up both my mom and dad to go see the homes.

My cousin’s husband helps sale the townhomes on Saturday’s so I told him we were dropping in. He was so much fun. He followed us around. It was interesting to see all of the extra work done on the model homes. My cousin Kami decorated one of the homes so we went to see it. It was cute, modern and not really kid friendly but cute.

Then my dad wanted to have dinner with his parents so we drove to Logan to meet them. We also brought RaCinda and Kalie with us. We went to TJ Maxx before because we were early. I bought Daxton some clothes for school this fall. Then we went to Fedrico’s Pizza, one of my favorite places to eat. After dinner we went to Ross. I found more clothes for Daxton, some shoes and a bedspread for me. It’s cute…plain but cute. Now I have to make my bed.

My cousin also made it to the National Finals High School Rodeo. Out of about 145 team, he came in 19th place. Good job Kyler, you’re a stud!

24th of July 2008

We went to Bear Lake because my Aunt and Uncle and there family had rented a condo on the beach. So we were invited up for the day. We just sat and stared at people and played on the beach. It was kind of hot. But after you got over the first shock of the water it was actually very nice. My Mom and Aunt KaeLene Our crew playing on the beach and in the water Uncle Chris, enjoying the shadeUncle Tom...he's the one who put this party together

Wednesday 7-23-08

Daxton and my mom went to the park after we had lunch. Then about mid afternoon I was sitting at my desk and all of the sudden Daxton came flying past my door. Its scared me. He was so excited to show me his new cool paint job. He could only stay for a minute but he was so excited.

Always going 7-22-08

We decided last night after work to go see my brother Corey and his family. They are going to be with my Sister-in-law’s family for the holiday, so we won’t get to see them. My Dad made it home from Idaho just in time to turn right around and drive to Logan.
KrisAnn went to a movie with the girls in my family so we all came to tend. Aubrey is so much fun. She is just getting to learn to say words. So now you really have to watch what you say. She loves dirt. She has a little dirt pile in the back yard for her to play in. She is full of energy and loves to be outside. They also have a little stream that goes through there yard. So after she played in the dirt with Daxton, then they got sticks and went fishing. Aubrey was so dirty.
Then we ordered some dinner from Juniper Takeout…one of my favorite places to eat. It was ok, the food isn’t very good for taking out. Daxton ate turkey stake, he love turkey stake. He is horrible at eating.
Then we blew bubbles and the kids road bikes. Corey mowed the lawn while we were there to help watch Aubrey. She was such a mess! Daxton loves riding bikes. He went back and forth all night. He doesn’t go too far.
Then we had to clean up the kids so we bathed them. Then we danced and read books. Then we left and went to see Grandma and Grandpa Mitton (mom’s parents). We didn’t spend much time with them, it was late and we had to get home.

Tired 7-21-08

Hell Monday, that is what I usually call it. I have payroll that is due by...well, I don't know when but it doesn't give me much time to perfect it. Not to mention that everyone runs out of product over the weekend so the phones are crazy. It's nice because you stay really busy but it also takes a lot of effort to get everything done on such a tight deadline.

I went to lunch with mom and Daxton like I always do. I was so tired. We were driving around Bountiful and I was telling Daxton how tired I was and I shut my eyes and the informed me that only he could sleep. So he pretended to sleep. Keep in mind that if I blinked to long that Daxton would inform me that I couldn't sleep.

Daxton is also in love with transformers. Everytime we pass a McDonalds he is all of a sudden hungry. He has most of them but not all. I think he is going turn into a chicken nugget before McDonalds get a new toy in. It kind of makes me sick.

Car's 7-19-08

Over the last weekend I didn't have Daxton so I decided that I would go test drive cars. Now there are some things you should know. I love cars! I love german cars but I can't even afford to look at them. haha so I just looked at a few, in Bountiful. I am currently leasing a 06 Accord but my lease is up next year so I am trying to figure out my next move.
First we went to look at Honda Accords. I like my Honda just fine. I don't love it though. I have issues with the seats. I find them sticky. They are cloth, when dust particles float around in the air and they land you can see them on the seats. The sales person thought I was nuts. They have improved the seats but not too much. The sales man said that I could just add leather for $1500. No big deal. Other than that they are really nice.

Then we went to look at Toyota Camry's. They are really cute on the outside but I felt the inside was cheap. So scratch that idea.
Then we stoped for dinner at Ho Ho's. I was with my mom looking at cars and my dad came for dinner. But he would not use his presious time looking at cars. So then me and mom had one more stop Nissan. I had a Maxima once, loved it, of course it was top of the line. haha so we looked at the Altima, it was nice. I think the seats were not as bad as the ones in the accord. It was a fun drive. It was more sporty.
So now I am totally confused. This is nothing new. But cars are important to me so this is a big deal. What do I do? So for now we just stress and wait. I would take any advice or opinions on either.

Suprise Visit

My plans for last night were to deliver a birthday present to a girl in my primary class. Then go home because my attorney was supposed to bring a paper that I need to sign to go to court. That was the plan. Well, I got to my primary teaching partners house right at 5:30 as planned. The birthday girl wasn’t home. On my way to her house however, I passed my parents house and noticed that my Sister-In-Law was there with my niece Aubrey. Now, I love these guys. It’s always a great day when you get to see them. So now I am in an extra hurry to get home to see them. Well, the lovely sister I teach with wants to drop the sharing time parts off to the kids. It ended up taking me 15 minutes. I was so mad. Then I get to my parents. We tried to make plans and I was like, well my attorney is coming to my house. Finally I called my attorney, who scares me to death, and he had forgotten to bring the stupid papers home...grrrr. So off we went to get something to eat and to Target. KrisAnn is having a baby the first of November so we were looking at strollers and cribs. The kids found that they could plan on the boxes of strollers…and we let them. They had so much fun. Sometimes its great when plans do go as we planned. haha

2nd Week in July

Well, last week was a wild one. I ususally wont post by the week but I am just getting started. Because Posts are backwards we will start with Saturday:
Bear Lake 7-12-08
We invited as much of my extended family as could come to go to Bear Lake with us. Bear Lake is one of our family favorites. Don't look for any picture of boats because we don't have any. But we have a good time anyways.

Maci, my cousin's daughter...darling

When you tell her to pose she will put her hands together and cross her legs.

This is Daxton and his new scuba gear, just getting ready.

Friday 7-11-08

Friday was my big Mediation day. Trevor (my ex) and I am my attorney went to mediation. They put us in a room togher to try to talk out our differences. Well, not to go into to much detail...we got seperated fairly quickly. And the final out come was NOTHING! I spend over $500.00 and we didn't agree to anything, so its back to court.

Then we went to my cousins Ryan's wedding. It was in Logan so it is kind of a long ride. We took my dad's truck because we were going to the lake on Saturday and we were not going home. Daxton was freaking out because it doesn't have a TV like Grandma's Tahoe so we got the camera out.

The wedding was very nice. Ryan looked very handsome! This is his second marriage so we are all hoping that things work out better for him the second time around. We were at the wedding all night long. You know how when you are with people and you have no right to tell them when to leave...well, this was the case. We were there from 5 which was 30 minutes early and didn't leave until 10. Daxton was having fun playing with the kids.

Tragic Tuesday 7-8-8

I got to work around 8 and all was well. Then a few minutes later I hear all of the fire trucks and police that are within 10 minutes of here. Then all my co-workers go running to the enterance. I was thinking a car accident. So I ran to the end of the building that over looks the road and this is what I saw. With my company being in the Petroleum business the phones when crazy. I guess the guy that rolled the pup called my dad immediately to see if someone was here to pump out the diesel. To the rescue, we had someone here that could do that. The pup was leaking so we moved as fast as we could and all in all saved the day. What a team!

Monday 7-7-8

With my cousin getting married I was lucky enough to be invited to a bridal shower for his future wife. It was at my aunt Ra Cinda's house. So as soon as I got off work my mom, Dad and Daxton and I headed to Nibley (almost Logan). We were there on time...well early, and the bride was late but so was everyone else. My dad took Daxton and went to Corey and KrisAnn's house to play with Aubrey. My family are all my best friends. I love spending time with them. We always have some adventure. We were talking about Facebook because I signed up Kalie so she could find friends. Well, Tahnee who doesn't like to miss out on anything signed up for it too. Then Jessica was like that sounds like fun. Then Tahnee, who loves to have her picture taken, was like lets take pictures. So we did. Then before I knew it, it was 9 and Aubrey needed to go to bed and Daxton, well, yea. So we drove home.

I am in dark gray, Tahnee is in peach, Jessica is in red and Kalie is in light gray

To blog, or not to blog

Well, I am blogging. I have been wanting to do it for some time now but I have been afraid. So you people who do not like that I might write everyday…get over it. I don’t have a picture to post today because of the fact that my battery died but usually I will have a ton of fun pictures to post. I hope you all enjoy.
