Daxton's 7th Brithday Part 1

Due to the fact that Daxton was born so close to Halloween the parties are going to fall on his big day. So this year it was his schools Halloween parade and party. Lucky for me I got a job offer but I told them that I couldn't start until the first of November. That way I could go to the party and have a party for Daxton. So first things first. The parade.
This is Daxton's teacher Mrs. Jones and her daughter Olivia. I have become good friends with her over the past few months. I am super going to miss her when I have to go to work. She is an awesome teacher.

In Mrs. Jones class when its your birthday you get to be the line leader. Due to the fact that it was there where two birthday kids today Daxton got to go second...girls first. If you look to the right of Mrs. Jones you can see my panda. That is Daxton, we found his costume at kid to kid and he was totally excited.
The parades are kind of crazy. They walk really fast and there is a lot of noise and so its hard to get your kids attention.
Finally he finds me. Gabe is one of Daxton's really good friends, he is behind him in the sumo suit.
They panda waves. That crown on his suit means that he is prince for the day. What a cute panda.


A few pictures of Daxton's class room and classmates. They are such cute kids. I love the time that I have had to spend helping them while I have been unemployed. It is my dream come true.

He has got to be the best looking boy in the school.
Um, that is me. He had something on his face. I am guessing he got a little to close with someone who was wearing makeup. Don't worry, I was there to lick if off.
Ok, so this little girl reminds me soooo much of my cousin Natalie. She looks a little like her and acts even more like her. I think both of them are just darling. That is Loria and Capree.

So, in the middle of our party there was a stupid fire drill. I don't think it was planned because we couldn't go right back in the fire department had to come and and make sure the building was safe. It lasted for about an hour. Bad timing, right in the middle of a party.

Paige, Daxton, Esther, Brooke and Jesse. Just a side note, Brooke and Daxton have got to school together since Pre-school and Brooke loves Daxton. She told him that she loved him and he said, "really." I said next time Daxton, just say thanks.

Ok, so this is where it gets good. If you don't know first graders, they are very touchy and lovey. Daxton is already that way. So, every morning when I drop Daxton off in his line there is a lot of hugs that are given. It is so nice to see kids that like to see each other and aren't punching each other. Well, Daxton hugs everyone.

First Lost tooth 10-23-10

Daxton had a wiggly tooth and he and his friend Brooke at school where having a contest to see who would lose their first tooth first. Daxton's was wiggly and he went to his dads. Then he called me in the night (oct 23) and told me that his dad pulled it out. The next morning he came home to me and the tooth fairy had given him $5.00!

LOTOJA September 2010

Being that my brother Corey is a machine he decided to the the LOTOJA. It is where they ride road bikes from Logan, Utah to Jackson Wyoming. I think he is nuts personally. So we supported him. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Daxton wasnt with us do to the fact that it was on a weekend he was with his dad. My dad and KrisAnn where his team. That meant that they had to be at all of the stops to give food and drinks for the riders. My mom and I brought his girls up later in the day. They started early in the morning and it would take like 11 hours.

We decorated the car for fun...he didn't think it was fun. His daughters thought it was fun.

KrisAnn at the finish line waiting for Corey. I don't know what place he got but he did really well. If he would have know that he was going to be in the upper half of the finishers he would have tried harder. I still think he is amazing!

Because Corey decided to do the race last minute we didn't have a room so we ended up going to Tetonia to some ski resort to spend the night. It was kind of cool. We where not there for very long though.

Then my mom told the girls about Bear world. So on our way home we got to stop and drive through bear world. I guess the kids liked it. I think my dad liked it the most. He took like a million pictures of all the animals. Lucky for you I didn't post them.
