Kay and Renea Family Reunion 8-13-14-11

 Grandma decided that this year she was going to start her own reunion.  Its had to find a time when everyone can make it.  She told me this year that "the only reason that people shouldn't come is because they are dead.  And if they aren't dead, I'll kill em."  I think she was serious.  It was camping my style, they had showers.  I stayed in my tent with Daxton that blew all night and I though we might just blow away.  Daxton freaked out and wanted to go home and I told him to stick it out.

 That right, a pool party.  Kamrie is so much fun.  I could watch her play all day.  Millie was learning to share.

 Its only fair to note that Cinda broke her wrist.  She was cleaning her life away and slipped in the bathroom and landed right no it.  She had to have surgery an it looks like she slit her wrist but that's not what happened at all.

 So the next pictures, the boys decided that they wanted to go swimming in the lake.  Daxton was all for it until he was the water.  It is a lot dirty, nothing like bear lake and he panicked.  There was no sand just rocks and weeds.  He tried several time to just get in and he just couldn't do it.  The Cooper boys just jumped right in. 

 We move down the beach a little looking for a better place for Daxton to get in at.  This picture above shows how far he made it in.

 Note the look on his face.  After that he looked at the sand and found some crawdads.  Now that was exciting.  He wouldn't touch them though.  So again, the Cooper boys came to the rescue holding them captured for Daxton.

 He did end up holding them.  It doesn't mean that he liked it though.

 Grandma picked her birthday for the reason that we where having a party.  She believes in celebrating her birthday all month....smart lady.

 Daxton got sick on Sunday.  He had a fever and didn't feel well at all. 

On our way home Daxton passed out.  If you know him, you know that its nothing short of a miracle for that kid to fall asleep.  He really must not have felt well.  We had so much fun and look forward to doing it again next year.

Zoo 8-8-11

KrisAnn was so kind as to let Daxton go to the zoo with her and her family.  They had a lot of fun and I was glad that he had the chance to go while I was at work.

Slip N' Slide 7-21-11

We have this huge tarp that we got for sliding down the back hill.  It's a lot of fun.  I came home from work one day and he was out playing.  It's a good thing he doesn't cry when I get water in his face.

  

Mitton Reunion 6-25-11

We went to the Mitton reunion.  It was somewhere in the middle of Idaho.  We left friday right after work.  I went with my parents.  We drove for what felt like forever and about 2 hours in the middle of nowhere Daxton says in a very serious tone, "hey, maybe we will find Kalie's herd."  He was so serious, it was all that i could do to not laugh at him.  Kalie is part Native American, for those of you who dont know.  Finally we where there and it looked like a ton of fun.  Usually we go in the middle of the nowhere and all that you see is dirt so this was like the best thing ever!  They had two slides that where long and a zip line.  They also had volleyball and a trampoline.

Daxton found out that he loves to play volleyball.  My family where all very kind and patient with him.

 I am standing at the top of this tower in the back ground and I am not afraid of heights but I was extra nervous to just throw myself off the platform.  I would have felt better if I would have had a safety belt on or soemthing.  It was really fun though.  The only shady thing was stopping before you hit the pole at the end.  Yikes!

Ruby Renea Hyer 6-23-11

 Casey and Alisa had there second daughter Ruby.  I was able to go to the hospital to see her.  When I got there Casey was in the nursery going to get her.  There where a few babies in there.  I was looking through the window and Casey was in there waiting for them to finish the tests that they where doing.  There was an Asian baby, being that Casey was on the other side of the window I couldn't hear him but he pointed to the Asian baby and mouthed to me, "this one's mine."  I laughed really hard.  She was so sweet and fresh from heaven.  I am happy to now have 5 nieces.

Baseball 6-18-11

Daxton is at it again.  He loves to play sports, I think he mostly like the interaction that he gets with the kids around him.  He played pitching machine this year.  It scared him but I think he did a really good job.  He was one of the younger kids on his team this year.  It was a good thing because he tried harder.  His team was really good, they even made it to the playoffs.  They one the first game and then came back and the other coach called time before the game was over so the other team won.  None the less, I am very proud of Daxton and what a good teammate he is.

I was also very impressed with his coaches.  They where positive and there to teach the skill and not just to win.  It makes it more fun when its a positive experience for everyone.  Here is a list of the kids on his team:
