Sunday family day 3-21-10
My parents had Sunday dinner at their house. Corey and his family came to join us and Caden and Mandy and Eric and Ashley (addopted family). After dinner the kids where playing. When they came down from the playroom this is what we had...
Daxton was a clone trooper...
look at how the mask is smashing his cute little nose
Daxton the clone trooper
Cowboy Aubrey (she was a cowboy and at one point had two cowboy hats on)
and Sienna worried and into all of the chocolate
Daxton wanted to play basketball so we all played basketball. Corey's comment was "he is totally Brandi's kid!" haha, I think what he means by that is that we are super good, way cordinated and super amazing! By the way, Daxton noted that it was warm out so he dressed himself. Man, look how white he is. He is awesome!

Skiing 3-20-10
I was finally able to take Daxton skiing. We have been before but it was super cold and well, not much fun for a kid. It was the perfect day. It was a little cold but not too bad. There where a few of us there; my mom and dad, Corey, Caden and Mandy and Daxton and I. I think Daxton did 3 runs all day. He doesnt quite love it yet because he is still learning. He is really quite good at it for the amount of times he has been. He has a little trouble with steering, but that comes in time. I had so much fun with him. I am glad that he is willing to go do something that I love with me.
All ready to go

Tax return 3-19-10
I got my tax return back today, now keep in mind it wasn't a huge amount but it was enough to help. So the first thing I thought when I saw the money in my banking account was, "I'm RICH!" Then I got thinking things that I would love to do:
My first thought was that I would love to take Daxton to Disneyland. He would love it, I think. We could go and we could stay for a few days. But then I got thinking he loves warm weather so...
then I was thinking he would love Tahiti. And then I thought about myself, I hate to be hot. I would rather die then be hot. So thinking of myself...
British Columbia. That would be perfect, not to hot and some time together. But maybe a big TV would be fun...
And then I woke up and remembered that hello, I live off that money. No fun stuff, no trips no huge TV's. Dont think that this means that I am not totally thankful for the stuff that I do have, because I am. I have a sweet car, and awesome son and we are going to St. George (in may). What more could I need! :)

Disney on Ice 3-11-10
We went to Disney on Ice and Daxton cried the entire time because I would not buy him a toy. First of all there was nothing there that he would like. Yea he would like it for the day, but that would be the extent of its usage. Trust me I have done this a million times. So I said no...all freaking evening. Then we just left...in the middle of the closing act. I had had enough! But it could have been fun.

I tried to take a picture...this is what I got

We got a laugh out of this ugly hat

Daxton trying not to enjoy the cars

Daxton fakein it

And in the end, I think he actually like it

Kyler 2-11-10
My cousin Kyler got sent home from his mission because he is super sick. I love Kyler, he is such a stud! My entire family went to the airport to pick him up. Now let me tell you about my family, we are so close. This is one of the best support systems that I have ever seen. And I somehow got lucky enought to be born into it. So we all went to the airport, I am talking all the aunts, uncles, cousin and second cousins. It was awesome to see the support that we are lucky enought to have. I let Daxton take the camera and take some pictures...this is the result.

Christmas happened 12/25/09
I feel bad but it was hard for me to have Christmas morning and then have Daxton leave. So I didn't blog about it. But it did happen so here are a few pictures from Christmas.
Corey, Daxton, Sienna and Aubrey...he made that house
Daxton playing Santa with Aubrey
When Daxton saw what Santa had brought him, before he touched anything he ran to the fireplace and told us that he had to say a prayer and thank Santa for bringing him what he wanted. It was totally amazing, what a good boy.
