Addison Jone's 7-12-10

Well, on 7/11 Tahnee went into labor. I was one of the first to know because we live so far away and needed to make plans to go to Logan. So we went to Logan but she wasn't doing much so we went to the park with the family. We had ourselves a little picnic and played at the park with Daxton, Aubrey and Sienna. Then at about 8:00pm we thought she was getting close so we went to the hospital. At about 10:00pm I made Daxton a bed on the bench and he fell fast asleep. We where getting close to the next day and we all wanted her to come on 7/11 because that is fun! Well, the time came and passed. Grandma and I did a little crossword puzzle. Lets see, I should mention who was there, Tahnee and Tyson, RaCinda and Kalie, Ryan and Manda, Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad, Daxton and I, Tyson's mom, dad and brother. And Fuzzy came later after my dad went to get him. All of the guys fell asleep but us women where too excited and nervous.

Finally, at 2:30am Addison Anne Jones was finally here. She was amazing. She came out with her eyes wide open and talking. I got to see her shortly after she had arrived. Tahnee did awesome and Tyson was such a cute proud father. It was totally awesome! Nothing can beat a birth. She was 6 pound and 7 ounces and 19.5 inches long.

Do to the fact that children can not see the kids unless they are siblings Daxton didn't get to see her. So on Thursday we drove up to Logan so that Daxton could meet "our baby" as he would say. He was so cute and so sweet with her, he was like a proud brother. Its really cute how he refers to her as "our baby". Congrats Tahnee and Tyson, she is beautiful!

Daxton and my mom when to Logan for the day to play with the family and do some shopping. Daxton got to play with the kids. They played all day and they came home just in time to eat and go to bed.

Boondocks 7-7-10

Summer can get long and boring with nothing to do. So my kind babysitter took Daxton to Boondocks to take care of some of there time. Daxton love's Boondocks, it is right in our once small town so its always on his mind. Daxton got to do a few activities.

4th of July celebration 2010

What a fun celebration! It lasted all weekend and into Monday. Saturday we went to the Kaysville parade. We stood in the usual spot and hung out with our friends. None of our family came down this year, Casey and Millie were lucky enough to join us. We had Becky and Kristy and Angie and her husband Ronnie and his family were there. Eric and Ashley joined us, she was a little sore from heart surgery but she was doing really well. And it was good to see her and know that she was alive.

Daxton spent most of the parade playing with the dogs. This is Kristy's baby Winston.

They had a helicopter swing by during the parade and Eric and Daxton went over to check it out.

At the end of the Kaysville parade they have a water parade. Its just a big water fight. It wasn't as good this year as it has been in years past. Daxton had a blast, he was so into it. After we got Daxton cleaned up we went to Dylan's for lunch. Good food, good company. :)

Kaysville had free blow up toys for the kids to play on. We waited late enough in the day that there weren't too many kids left so we didn't have to wait in line for a long time. Daxton had fun, he ran from toy to toy as fast as he could.

This was cool, it was a two sided basketball hoop and there was a kid on both sides of the bungee and they would take off running in opposite directions and the first to get all the basketballs in the hoop won. Daxton won!

They had booths at the park and Daxton found this gun so he is spoiled and so I got it for him. That pole right behind him is a flag, my mom cut it off.

After the parade we made our way up to Logan to watch the Cruise Inn. Its a car parade. Its basically my Christmas in July. It was way awesome and it always is so if you want a real opinion you better ask someone who is not in love with cars!

After the Cruise Inn we flew home to watch the Kaysville fireworks. Daxton didn't even care. We lit a few of our own, that was what Daxton liked. Then we sat and watched so dang many people try to get home from the fireworks. Corey and KrisAnn showed up at the end of the fireworks so we lit off a few more.

Then on Monday we went to Lewiston, Utah where my dad is from and we went to the rodeo for a few minutes. We made it in time to watch my cousin Kyler do some team roping. That was fun. We hung out with the Hyer's and Daxton had a blast playing night games with my cousins kids that he has never seen before.

While we where there my cousin had someone come to pick up a colt from her mom and take her to get trained. Well, this was the first time that the two where separated. They were trying to get the colt in the trailer and she just wouldn't go. The mom horse was freaking out and the colt and my grandma, mother and I were not happy they were separating them. Daxton found out what was going on and he was so upset. I think it hit too close to home.

We went home and there were more fireworks in Layton and Farmington but we were so tired that we just went to bed. I heard them going off when I was trying to fall asleep. It was such a nice weekend and it was great to get to spend so much time with Daxton. I hope you all had a fun one too.

Mitton Reunion June 25-27 2010

Every year my entire one side of the family gets together. It's my grandpa and his brothers. We are talking a lot of people. This year we went to Crystal Hot springs. By the time we finally got there I was ready to go home. Daxton was being difficult and on the way up I lost him in Walmart in Brigham City. This was after I saw at least 5 creepy guys. But we found him, but not till after I almost puked for nerves. My dad and I took the day off to go. He doesn't have the first idea how to take a day off. He is too important. So between Daxton giving me trouble and my dad being on the phone all day, i was ready to go home before we even got there.

This is a picture of Nash. Now for history sake, at the very end of our reunion Nash was being a wild boy and he was going down the side and he hit his head on the top of the slide. This left at least a 3 inch cut on the top of his head. They ran him to the hospital and he came back with 6 staples. Very cool, chicks dig scars.

So I guess I need to share this story with you all. Sunday before we left I was tired. I needed some rest so while Daxton was off playing I thought I would have a little rest in my tent. Because it was hot I took off the rain fly to get a breeze. Well, I woke up from splattered stuff on my legs. I screamed because I thought Daxton had gotten me with a water gun. I went to look and it hit again. Only it was not water, it was a bird. A bird crapped on me twice. I was covered with poop.

And then we went home.

Random June End 2010

I had these cute pictures that I wanted to share. Daxton went to the dentist, which I think is a very cute office. Not to mention that his dentist is one for my older brothers friends that they grew up with. So that is kind of fun.
Also, my mom gave my dad a new mailbox for fathers day (yes just what he wanted, NOT). Then someone bought numbers for it. Long story short, Daxton found the numbers and decided that he wanted to put them on by his self. I ran outside with him to help. We didn't want him to put them in the wrong order. He insisted he could do it by himself. He found the number off the curb and copied it. My parents are bugged because its a little crooked, and no they will not come off. Sorry guys.

Triple Trouble mid-june 2010

So basically Daxton is an only child so when you put him with other kids it tends to be a challenge. He loves kids, and for the most part he is loving and caring. So after a night of play at Grandma's house and the kids where all together getting along reading a book we grabbed the camera as fast as we could and we got a picture of it. Yea, so cute! Sienna, Daxton and Aubrey.
