6 Quirks 9-17-8
I have so many things that I do that are totally weird habits, its part of being OCD. So I will try not to do straight compulsive habits. I couldn't do this because they are totally normal to me so, thanks for the help Chels!
1. I iron my sheets. I don’t do this every time but I do it as much as I can. I like them to be nice and smooth with now wrinkles. But I am not the only one. My Grandma and Carl at work does it too so I am not he only weird one.
2. I don’t believe in making my bed. I wake up get ready and leave. When I come home I get ready for bed and get back in it so I don’t see why I really need to make it. If I was home for more then 5 minutes I would make it.
3. As soon as I see white on my fingernails I cut them. I like to keep them short. Most of the time I cut them too short and they hurt, even bleed sometimes. I just can’t stand to have nails.
4. I yell at people when I am driving. Well, I don’t yell at them but I talk to people that I think are crappie drivers. Like people who don’t know how to yield when getting on the freeway, and when you have to pass people on the right because they think the fast lane is for just driving in. I by the way am a bad driver. I know this and I don’t pretend to be a good driver.
5. I don’t like to dip. I like chips no salsa. Sometimes I do ketchup on my fries but for the most part I like it plain. I don’t like a side of Ranch with everything…I just don’t dip.
6. No fingers on the windows. You know how you see the cars that you can’t see out of the windows, not acceptable. I was raised that if you touch the windows when you get home you were going to clean the windows. I like clean windows. I try to make the same rules for Daxton but it doesn’t work because he thinks its fun to clean the windows. Dang it!
I tag Rylee, Mindi, KrisAnn, Kristy, Malia and Shae!

Hair Cut 9-10-8
Sorry my lid was up
Fluff 9-7-8

The first thing we did Sunday morning was go to Grandma's to see his bunny...he was so excited that he was up with the sun. That's nothing new, just a pain to wake up at 7 on a weekend. Then we went to church. After church my grandma and grandpa Hyer stopped by. They stayed a long time for them. Daxton wanted to swim...needless to say, Fluff got a little wet also. He hated it. I told Daxton that his bunny isn't going to like his boy if you keep doing things he doesn't like to him. We wrapped the bunny up like a baby so he would be so scared.

I am not sure that with all of this love an attention that this bunny is going to live very long. Haha

The Mt. Sterling Stampede 9-6-8

This year I talked Daxton into riding a sheep. He talked to the sheep before hand asking them if “any of them had horns?” It was so funny. He was so excited. I dressed him as cowboy as I could, although my cousins were sure to mention that he looked like “a city cowboy.”haha On the sign up desk sat the trophies for all the kids to see. Daxton was determined to win one. The first event is the sheep riding. All the kids got in an area to wait for there turn. Daxton again talked to the sheep. He was way nervous but he was trying to be a stud so he handled it like it was no big deal, ya now dancing around and wiggling like crazy. Then it was his turn, they took him and put him in to get ready on the sheep. I ran out to the arena and got ready to film. The shoot opened and here comes Daxton. I was standing in the arena and with the excitement I turned off my camera. I didn’t get his big moment on film. Then to top it off the stupid sheep headed right towards me. I screamed and saw Daxton’s scared face. When he got within a foot of running into me Daxton just let go. The ride was over. Daxton was so upset that he didn’t stay on longer. He knew he had not won the ride and was very sad for like 30 minutes. At one point I took him over to the trophies and took his picture and told him, “There, now everyone will think that you won!” haha

I knew that the bunny, chicken and goat chase was coming up so I hoped that would make him happy. The time had come. I was in the arena with him giving him all the good advice I could think of, spot your target, run as fast as you can, push whoever gets in your way, jump right on the animal of your choice and stiff arm anyone you need to in order to get what you want.” With that said and a few dirty looks…on your marks, get set…GO! They were off. I get my camera out and try to film the event; again I end up turning my camera off. No pictures, dang it! There was a big pile of kids and I though oh no, he isn’t going to get one or he is going to knock someone dead with the advice I gave him. Then all of the kids stand up and all of them had a bunny. It wasn’t just one bunny it was a pile of them. Daxton had caught a bunny! He was so happy!
Daxton right before they said GO

Daxton and his new bunny...look how happy Daxton is
Oh, on a side note, my mom made a joke and I am so proud of her I am posting it...Daxton's first name for the bunny was Shippy. Mom said, "yea, the first thing we are going to do is Shippy it off to Alaska." haha good job mom!
Then the rodeo is almost over except for the raffle. I was standing there talking to RaCinda about Daxton’s bunny that we were showing off and I hear…”Corey Hyer, Corey Hyer has won the colt.” It’s my uncle that is announcing everything, and he is a total joker so I was thinking…that’s a good one Curt. Haha Then RaCinda get a look on her face and she is like, he is serious. I turned and looked at the arena and there is Corey getting his pony! HOLY CRAP, Corey just won a pony! Daxton and I took off running. What an eventful evening. Corey was way excited to have won a pony and KrisAnn was like, what in the world are we going to do with a colt. I am not sure what the outcome was, we had to leave.

Golf N' 9-4-8
Daxton had a nap so we were able to do something after work instead of just going to bed. It was the perfect weather so I said lets go to Cherry-Hill. So my Mom and Daxton and I went for a round of golf.
Grandma Convinced Daxton to ride the aligator. He didn't want to but for the sake of a picture he agreed. But he wouldn't put his head in its mouth even for a picture. haha
Everytime I went to hit my ball there was Daxton blocking it. He was everywhere!
Daxton was so excited to be doing something...I think. On the first hole I showed him how to line up and how to hold his club. He almost got a hole in one on the first hole. I think after that he got a little cocky and wouldn't stop long enought to even look as to where the hole was.Wednesday, September 3, 2008
Pre-School 9-3-8

This is where he said, "I'm finished...now lets go!"
Labor Day Weekend
Today we went to Aubrey’s 2nd Birthday party. Her birthday was actually on the 2nd but we had a party a day early. It was really nice. They had it in the gaurage because the weather was so bad. Corey had worked his butt off trying to make it nice and it really was. She was so cute. I think she loved every present that she got, including the clothes. Daxton had fun because there was an extra three kids there that were Aubrey’s cousins. It was a blast!

Saturday 8-30-8
We didn’t really have plans for Saturday so we woke up and called my parents to see what they were doing. We spent the morning playing trucks! Then my parents were going office furniture shopping so I invited Daxton and myself to join them. I thought it would be a good fight…dad vs mom! It wasn’t a good fight at all. Although I got a head board for myself and a night stand, which I have been wanting for over 3 years now :)

So we went to my parents house and painted and put all of the furniture together. I guess they weren’t kidding when they called it labor day.

Daxton was kind of on his own for entertainment and other things like putting on a band-aid. But he did a good job!
